24

Right now, 24 is the only scripted tv show I watch on commercial tv. I hate it.
I love the show, but real tv sucks. Until this season I only watched 24 on dvd, where I could watch 4-5 hours at a time and see the whole season in a week. That's how I prefer to watch everything. I can't remember what happens between one week and the next and I can't care. I want to experience it differently. And life is too short for commercials.
The only reason I'm watching it is because Jay got addicted to it. I don't know how that happened, as he has remote control ADD. He can't seem to watch anything without flipping the channel every seven seconds. In all the years we've been married, I've always hated watching tv with him because he's incapable of watching only one thing; he needs to watch everything. That's how he relaxes. One hour in front of the tv with him and I'm a nervous wreck. We did both fall in love with the Sopranos a few years back when the kids started giving us those for Xmas and we've watched all those shows on dvd. He can't do more than one ep at a time, however and I prefer several hours at once. Anyway, it's fun to watch 24 with him, but I'll enjoy the show itself more when it comes out on dvd and I can watch six eps in a row.
My sister Mary Jeanne and her beau, Kent got me addicted to the Sheild, also. I just finished seasons 1 and 2 and 3 is at the top of my Netflix queue. Kent thinks that if Tony and Vic got in a fight, Tony would win. MJ and I think Vic would, but I know it doesn't matter, as neither Vic Mackey nor Tony Soprano would last 30 seconds with Jack Bauer.
Next week; Mad Martigan vs. Westly.
