An abundance of riches

We watched 24 last night. Every week, one tiny little dollop of Jack Bauer goodness. It's torture. I soooo much prefer watching it on dvd. I own the first four seasons. Maybe I'll just start over again. It's so much better when I can watch 4-5 hrs at once, I can't describe it.
Plus, Jack hasn't done anything really kickass since he poked a knife in the eye of the Walt Cummings, the President's traitorous aide. He will, of course, but I'm tired of sitting through commercials waiting for it.
I missed American Idol last week because I was busy lolling about in the hot springs of Glenwood CO. I'm told that's where Doc Holiday went to die. ("Wyatt, I am rolling." One of my favorite movies.) I'm a fan of country music, so I'm a little sorry I missed it. But the fact that Mandisa didn't last as long as Bucky has me flumpuckered.
I have to agree with Katie's (
www.yuckysaladwithbones.com) take on Kenny Rogers. That thing wasn't Kenny Rogers, it was a Kenny Rogbot!
Soylent Green is People!
Today I bought the third season of the Bob Newhart show. I haven't even started the second season yet, but I'll get there eventually. I also have the second and third seasons of MTM to watch. And the fourth season of Quantum leap. What's taking me so long is that I'm watching most of these with Josie and she doesn't have a lot of time for tv these days. (Good!) It's okay. The discs will wait. I'm watching NewsRadio and the Sheild with Katie and working my way through Firefly with Zack. I know it sounds like all I do is watch tv, but not really. Most nights we don't start til after 8:00 with an ep of Firefly, then an hour of NewsRadio. It's amazing how much you can watch when you don't have to sit through commercials or credits. I also have a couple of great comedies from the early nineties that netflix sent. Can hardly wait to see them again. Maybe we'll skip Firefly tonight...
