Last night I was minding my own bidness when Zack plopped himself in front of the tv and plugged his ipod into speakers.  "Watch this." he said, putting on dvd of Braveheart and queing up the battle of Sterling. He hit mute and we watched the battle while listening to Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen.

It was hilarious.

The song starts slow, while the action is too.  The music is lovely and lilting as the cavalry does it's slow motion charge across the green.  The spears came up and the armies clashed just as the music did the same.  At one point it actully looked like a horse was singing "let me go"!

Then we tried it with I Want to Break Free, and again with We Will Rock You/We Are the Champions.  They both worked just as well.  I swear, it's as if Mel used Queen to pace his movie.

It was way better than Dark Side of the Moon with The Wizard of Oz, and we weren't even high.
