Jay has such a tough job.

Most teachers get to take the summer off, but not him.  He teaches summer school.  He has to get up early and go off on these gorgeous spring mornings to teach.

Sure he's teaching golf, but it's the thought, you know?

So I was sipping coffee and reading the funnies when he called me from work, which is wierd: he never calls from work.

"Hello?"

"I just hit a hole in one."

"You did WHAT?"

"I just hit a hole in one!"

"Whoa!  Did you have any witnesses?"  ( trusting wife, arent' I?)

"Yes!  I did it in front of my whole class, I got four people here watching me!"

"Holy Canolli!"

"Yeah! Theodore Wirth, number 1, 114yds, with a pitching wedge!"

I just hope he stood back and told his class "...and that's how you do it."
