I have a three cd changer in my office and for the last two weeks, the disc I haven't taken off is Paul Simon's new release, Surprise.  It's really good.

Katie is a huge Paul Simon fan and she bought the cd when it came out.  She let me borrow it and I wouldn't give it back.  It's okay though, because once she'd loaded it into her ipod she didn't need the disc anymore.

I don't even have an ipod but the technology works for me.

I'm the only person in my family who doesn't have one.  Even Josie bought an ipod shuffle before going to camp so she could have her form music with her at all times to practice.  What else does a little kid put on her ipod?

Monkees, Beatles, Buffet and Beethoven.  She has eclectic tastes.

Back to Paul Simon; my current favorite cut has this lyric: 

   Once upon a time, there was an ocean. 
   Now it's a mountain range.
   Something unstoppable put into motion;
   nothing is different but everything has changed.

I mean really.  How good is that?
