It has been brought to my attention that in Criminy I seemed to be "equating banging fatty" a consenting adult, with chasing little boys around.

First of all, when I refered to sexual predators, I wasn't thinking of the woman who consented.  I was thinking of the women refered to as "trailer trash" and the one told to "put some ice on that."

Second, chasing little boys (or girls) around is much worse and I believe that the deepest circle of hell is reserved for pedophiles.

Third, I wasn't comparing the depredations of said politicians, I was comparing the responses from their respective parties.

Finally, let me remind you that I have never been an apologist for the Republicans.  I'm the one who believes that with very few exceptions politicians of every stripe should have to serve mandatory jail sentances at least as long as they held office.  Those exceptions are the politicians who, upon completion of their final terms, should be taken out and shot.
