I Love Crowded House.

Yes, I'm talking about that fey trio of New Zealanders who had a couple of hits in the eighties.  I got into them about six or seven years ago when I found a bunch of their cds at Half Price Books.  I didn't even know the band made it onto cds, they seemed to disappear right when the format changed.

My kids hate CH.  My siblings make fun of my fondness for the group.

Of course, whenever I had one of their cds on in my car, my Mom would say "This is pretty, what are we listening to?"

But for the most part I've gotten nothing but ridicule for liking CH.

Guess who has a Crowded House cover on his new release?

JIMMY BUFFETT, THAT'S WHO!!!

In fact, you could even say he named this cd, "Take the Weather With You", after Neil Finn's song, "Weather With You".

So to all you Crowded House haters out there;
