All I know is that when I woke up at 9:00 Sunday morning, the garage was open and Jay was snowblowing the driveway for the sixth time in 24 hours.

Had Jay broken a window and shoveled Josie through it, like I did the last time I couldn't find the key to the back door?

Nope.  Josie was still asleep and all the windows were intact.

The back door was kind of a mess.  Jay said Zack 'went all FBI on it'.  The story is that he kicked it in.

I wish I'd seen that, cause I'm having a hard time believing it.

All I know is that the door is open, and the garage is once again accessible.  I guess that's all I really need to know.

Jay's team played for third place at 2:00.  Third place still gets to advance.  The winner of the Championship game hosts the regional tournament.  As he left the house, he said "If we lose, the season is over.  If we win, we advance to regionals at either Bemidji, or Thief River Falls."

"Sounds like a win win situation to me!" I said.

He didn't think that was funny.

By 3:30 the Team Formerly KNown as the Marauders had thoroughly crushed Mesabi; a team that is particularly fun to crush.  The details are at www.minneapolisbasketball.com

We all got home in time to watch the red carpet pre Oscar events.  I got suckered into watching the Oscars, which I hate, by the sight of Michael Buble on the red carpet with his girl, Emily Blunt who was presenting.  I watched too much of that dullathon in the hopes of catching another glimpse of him.  Thank goodness I had some needlepoint to do.

Zack had to watch, for extra credit in his Film lit class.  He was actually taking notes on who won what.  At one point I looked up and commented that Britney Spears had really let herself go.

"That's Jack Nicholson, Mom"

Then we watched Cars, Pan's Labyrinth and Eddie Murphy get robbed.

Tomorrow I'll post what Zack has to say about the Oscars.
