I watched Backbeat the other night.  I had seen this movie when it came out a dozen or so years ago.  I liked it so I put it on my netflix list.

I can't decide if it was an awful cheesfest or if I loved it.  Perhaps both.  I think I liked it the first time because it was about the Beatles, and I think I'd like it better now if I ignored the fact that it's supposed to be the Beatles.

I do think Astrid Kirchherr took advantage of the situation to claim that both Stu and John were in love with her.  Hmmm.  I say they were both in love with me!  So what if Stu died six days before my first birthday and John never laid eyes on me.  George Harrison was in love with me too! 

Who's gonna say I'm lyin'?
