Josie will be twelve this summer.  Tyler turned thirteen a few months after she was born and I remember thinking that he got to be that age in the blink of an eye, so I'd better enjoy Josie's babyhood 'cuz I knew it wouldn't last long.

It didn't.  I've barely drawn a breath since she was born and here she is, almost twelve.

It really hit me that she's growing up this week, when we watched Spiderman I and II and then The Fellowship of the Ring and then X-men.

All she cared about were how cute the stars were.  She proclaimed Spidey "cute", Harry "super cute", Legolas "really cute", Aragorn "hot", Wolverine "soo cute" and Cyclops "really cute!"  She told me she watched Pirates of the Caribbean at her friends house and she likes Orlando Bloom no matter what color his hair is but Cap'n Jack? Apparently he is on an order of cuteness (or hotness) that no words can adequately discribe. 

Han Solo is still her gold standard.

I have to say I mostly agree with her taste in men.  One of these days we'll have to watch Gallipoli so she can see my gold standard.
