Last night I wrote for two hours about what I've been up to the past few weeks and then suddenly 'blip' and it was all gone.  I have no idea where it went.

I haven't got time right now to write it better than ever so here's this;

I've been reading Fargo Rock City by Chuck Klosterman.  It's hilarious and I have no interest in the subject matter at all.  It about the hair bands of the eighties and nineties.  Why, if I am not a fan, never have been a fan, never will be a fan and never even heard of half the bands he chronicles, am I enjoying it so? 

A sample;
  "...I had a substantial prejudice against dolphins.  They are my least favorite member of the animal kingdom.  Everyone seems to think dolphins are cute and "intelligent," but they're best described as ugly and impractical.  I don't want to come across as insensitive, but show me a person whose intelligence equates to that of a dolphin and I will show you a fucking retard."

What has that got to do with hair metal of the 80's?  Nothin.  Made me laugh so hard I shook the airplane, though.

So while you're waiting with bated breath for me to update you on this wonderful, exciting existence of mine, go read Fargo Rock City. 

I'll close with this quote from Mr. Klosterman;
  "After years of research, I have come to the conclusion that animals enjoy being eaten; they think it's fun."
