We're losing our parish pastor.  Fr. Mike O'Connell has been the Big Guy at the Basilica of St. Mary for quite a while.  He's the founder of the Basilica Block Party.  So we're getting a new Rector.  We just recieved an invitation to a welcoming event for (drumroll, please)

Fr. John Bauer.

I wonder if his friends call him "Jack".
