Frank Day!

It's Frank Day!
That may not mean anything to you, but around here, it's one of the most highly anticipated holidays of the year. In a really good year, we may celebrate Frank Day more than once.
Frank day is the day in which my sister Margy and all her boys come to town for a visit. The drive between there and here takes anywhere from 13 to 16 hours, depending on weather, traffic and the bladders of the kids. There were times when they made the trip with a dog in the car. That may not have added to the time but they were all nuts by the time they arrived.
The fastest I ever made the trip in was when Bill and I drove together. He could easily have flown, but was kind enough to help me drive my kids. He cursed himself for a fool long before we got across Nebraska.
On the way home we were supposed to be caravaning with Katie and Mike. But Mike never exceeds the speed limit while Bill believes limits are for losers.
We beat them home by four hours.
So, sometime this evening the Franks will be rolling up Grandma's street.
Let the games begin!
