Josie turned twelve this week.  It's been hotter than blazes and she wanted to spend her birthday at the pool, so that worked out really well. She asked her Grandpa a month ago if she could get lunch at the pool on her birthday and he told her that on her birthday, she could get whatever she wanted.

Turns out she wanted to get lunch for everyone.

Josie is definitely growing up. When her Dad asked her what she wanted for dinner, she said "Steak."

"Steak?" her Dad was incredulous.  "You don't like steak!"

"Well, I really liked what we had the other night." she insisted.  It was sirloin, grilled to perfection by her Dad.  So that's what we had.  Along with corn on the cob and chocolate cherry cake for desert.  Oh, and a trip to Sebastian Joe's in her Dad's convertible.

Yep, if these trends continue, we're all gonna be fatter than Fat Elvis.
