Reactions to the collapse of the 35W bridge;

From the right; "Let's pray for the victims of this disaster and their families."

From the left "Now they'll have to let us raise taxes! Yay!"

This is certainly an unfair assessment.  It's merely the way the local media has presented the reactions.
