My folks were over for dinner tonight.  We went through a bag of old photos.  There were pics of the kids as babies, of my wedding, baby pictures of Jay, birthday parties from forty years ago and one of the night Jay parents met.  There were photos of his Mom when she was in the Waves, pics of her dancing in many of the shows she was in and even one photo of her in her first communion gown. 

It's always fun to look at old photos.  "Look at how much hair..." and "Look how little..." and "You haven't changed at all!" 

I picked up one from 1989, taken on the front lawn of Jay's parent's house.  "Look how skinny I was!"  I said.

Then I realized I was seven months pregnant in the picture.




Maybe I won't have that second piece of cake.
