Unfortunately, the gorgeous black patent leather sling back strappy toed shoes decorated with the crystal brooch on them that Margy wore to the big shindig on Saturday night turned out to be the most uncomfortable things she'd ever strapped on and had her in tears by the time we reached the venue.  She spent most of the night bare foot, which wasn't a problem until it was time to go and we made her go get the car for us and it had started to snow.  She stepped on a rock hidden in a mud puddle and hurt her foot.

Some times beauty really is pain.

My manicure looked fabulous until about an hour after I got home.  Then, for no reason at all, the polish just broke right off of two nails.

Things are all back to normal now.
