Wow.  I wrote a whole bunch of stuff here, and when I happened to re look at it today, there was nothing there.  I'm pretty sure, judging by the heading, that this was about Monday night, when we started the evening all quiet, watching a movie with the kids and wound up having a party instead, and Tuesday when we finally got around to having home made pizza at my folk's to celebrate Zack's last birthday.

I mean the birthday Zack last had, not that he won't have any more.  Although if that kid doesn't get his act together, I've baked the last cake for him I ever will.  I don't want to go into detail, so I'll just say "AAAARRRGGGHHH!!"  Which is pretty much what he's been ringing out of us since the day he learned to walk.

Monday night, I'm baking cookies and trying to watch a movie with the kids when there was a knock on the door.  It was Steve and Pam who had come to pick up our square tv.  We'd finally gotten the tv room redone so we could use the other widescreen.  The square one is a great tv and we couldn't bear to just chuck it so it was nice to see it go to a good home.  Naturally, Steve and Pam had to have a cookie.

Then there was another knock on the door and in walked the Lovely Mr. Curry.  He had been driving by and I think he smelled the cookies.  I swear, the guy has a sweet tooth that rivals mine.  Why he doesn't weigh 800lbs is a testament to good genes.

Two extra people eating cookies in your kitchen is nice but three extra people eating cookies is a party.  So we opened a bottle of wine.

The next thing I know, it's Friday.
