When Edward Scissorhands finally snapped, it was ugly, indeed.  But come on, didn't we all see this coming?




"Hmmm... musicals are big.  In the last few years we've had hits like Moulin Rouge, Walk the Line, Ray...Chicago even won best picture.  Let's put out a musical for Christmas!"

"But which one?"

"How about Sweeny Todd!"

"The demon barber of Fleet Street?"

"Yes!" 

"Isn't it about a homicidal maniac who cuts his customer's throats?"

"Chicago featured murderers and America loved Chicago!"

"Chicago had tap dancing.  This thing has cannibalism!"

"It's a Victorian turn on classic Greek tragedy!"

"For Christmas?"

"We'll get Johnny Depp!"

"Brilliant!!"
