Suspicious Behavior

Zack works til 8 on Wednesdays. When Jay has a home game, we pick Zack up on the way. We miss tip off, but that's no biggie. Last night was Jay's last home game of the season before the tournament. As I was driving Zack to work, he said "I think I'll just take the bus home tonight."
"You don't want to go to Dad's game?"
"No, I got lots of homework."
Homework?? The kid hasn't done any homework in four years. Homework??? Inside my head a claxon is going off but on the outside I said "Okay. Get it done."
The game was never close. We were only up by twelve at half but soon widened our lead to 25, then 35. To make the fourth quarter interesting, Josie and the GM had a contest at to who could guess the final score. Josie won. It had been snowing all through the game so the drive was slow, but we got home at 9:45.
The kitchen was spotless. It looked like a cleaning crew had come in and polished the place.
First homework then cleaning the kitchen? I have no choice but to believe a Bacchanalia took place here between 8:30 and 9:30 last night.
