Everybody from Barack himself to Rush Limbaugh was laughing today over Hillary's chutzpah in offering him a shot at veep on her ticket.  Barack even said it was the first time he ever heard of the second place candidate offering the front runner a ticket position.

All I could think of was the final game of chess in the movie Searching For Bobby Fischer.  That's when Josh, seemingly too many men down to win, nevertheless sees that he's twelve moves from checkmate and offers his opponent a draw.

It's entirely possible that Hillary sees the board more clearly than anyone else.
