Doesn't the fact that we are even discussing a "Born alive infant" act tell us how legalized abortion has dehumanized us as a society?

I have friends who are anti-death penalty not so much because of the danger of executing an innocent person, but because they think that even the execution of the guilty dehumanizes us.  These same people don't "feel that way" about abortion.

Really.

Many states and the federal government have felt the need to pass laws requiring doctors to treat newborns.

Think about that.

Everyone knows that the first line of the Hippocratic oath is "First, do no harm", but we need the weight of the law to force doctors not to just let newborns die.

Welcome to the brave new world.
