I watched Obama make his acceptance speech last week.  I wanted to see what the fuss was about.  I was underwhelmed.  He may as well have been the Olympic closing ceremonies.  What I heard from Bill Clinton the night before was much, much better, I thought.

I guess I'm a minority of one, but Obama didn't move me.  His speaking style doesn't thrill me.  It could've been any politician listing a bunch of unlikely promises during any campaign of my adult life.

Yawn.

Last night I caught Fred Thompson's speech at the RNC convention.

That, kids, is the difference between an amateur and a professional.
