In his commencement speech at Notre Dame, pres. O called for an end to the nasty rhetoric between pro-lifers and pro-deathers.

See? That's exactly what he meant by nasty.

Let's try again; Put an end to the name calling between pro-choicers and anti-abortionists.

Well, I don't like that either.

I'm not simply "anti-abortion".  I'm "pro-life".  The sanctity of human life is why I'm against abortion, fetal stem cell research, letting newborns die of exposure, withholding food and water from the elderly and the infirm, assisted suicide and a nuclear Iran.  You can see that "anti-abortion" is a simplistic and inaccurate term for me and those who think (feel, believe) the way I do.

And why should we let the other side get away with calling themselves "pro-choice" when they are most obviously not pro-choice.   All you have to do is consider the way the pro-deathers screamed about Sarah Palin and her lovely son, Trig, to see with absolute clarity that the so called "pro-choice" crowd believes in one choice only and that choice is death for the less than perfect, so I see no reason at all to let them hide their pro-death beliefs behind a morally neutral word like "choice".

"Pro-child/ Pro-choice" reads the popular bumper sticker.   "Choose Death" would be a lot more honest.

Hmmm.  I started out writing with every intention of agreeing with Pres. O, in that we would all be better off if we could quit with the name calling and then I went off on that tangent.  Sorry.

Okay!  Let's try again; If you stop supporting the killing of babies, then I'll stop accusing you of supporting the killing of babies!

No good?

How's this; If I stop accusing you of supporting the killing of babies, then you stop supporting the killing of babies.

I'll go with either of those options.

The ball's in your court, Mr. President.
