The buzz over the last few days has been about the video made by Demi Moore and her lovely husband, Ashton Kutcher, in which they and a slew of their equally beautiful, vapid celebrity friends vow to be servants of the president.

Relax; that's not an earth quake.  It's George Washington whirling in his grave.

Apparently, the video ends with Demi (who was great in GI Jane) challenging the viewer, saying "What's your pledge?"

Honest to goodness; if you don't want to be compared to the Hitler youth movement, stop acting like them!

I have no interest in spending the time it would take to go to youtube and see all these pretty people pledge their own indentured servitude to the god-king, ( I've already seen 300) but I was moved by Demi's challenge, so here's my pledge;

I vow, on the flag of my fathers, to LIVE FREE OR DIE.
