The key rack insert I painted for myself on Thursday was finished before Jay's game on Saturday.  Which we lost.  I don't know whether to blame Zack, who didn't come to the game, or myself, for not having needlepoint with me, or Tubby Smith, who was also at the last game we lost in that gym, two years ago.

I finally took a day off to paint the chair seat I've been wanting to do since I bought the chair at an estate sale 18 months ago.  I enjoyed working in silk on the little things so much that I decided to do the chair seat on 16 mesh ( 16 stitches per linear inch) so I could work it in a silk/wool blend thread that covers 16 perfectly.

The threads are going to be expensive so I'm picking them up a few skeins at a time.

Now I have to go to a meeting.

Bleh.
