The fifth season of Lost finally came via netflix.  I thoroughly enjoy watching the show but tend to forget all about it the moment I'm done.  It holds not big place in my psyche unlike other shows I've loved much more.  In fact, I've come to the conclusion that I only watch it for one character.

The Big Question all female viewers of Lost have to answer is this; Jack or Sawyer?

The answer is Desmond!!

I think Dr. Jack is a complete tool with control issues and a total loser in real life.  Jack's real life off the island, not the actor who plays Jack.  As for Sawyer, I never cared much for blonds and Sawyer is a dumb dingbat.  Plus, that guy is a terrible actor.  At least Matthew Fox, who plays Jack, does a good job.

Ah, but Desmond!  Desmond's story arc does The Time Traveler's Wife far better than the movie of the book did.  Desmond just reeks of romance.  His enduring passion for his lost love, Penny...his heroic attempts to save Charlie's life...his anguish as he becomes dislodged in time...his humiliation at the hands of his erstwhile father in law...

I was trying to figure out who he reminded me when it hit me; He looks like Dustin Hoffman if Hoffman were smoking hot.  I know, I know that's like saying "It's like the Antarctic, if the Antarctic were tropical"  Hard to wrap your head around the idea.

But look; Am I wrong?

Last year, some chick sued him for sexual harrassment.  I guess he groped her and kissed her.
Some women have all the luck.  Really, hon?  That's all you've got to complain about?


Seriously.




No one on Lost is as hot as this guy.  For my money, he's the hottest thing on tv or in the movies these days.
