Having chosen her teams based on the color of their uniforms, Josie crushed her more basketball savvy father and brothers, winning her bracket with the choice of Duke as her champions.

The rest of us were cheering for Butler because they made such a valiant run for it, Duke wins all the time, and Butler is where our nephew Matt is a music professor.

But last night, the wisdom and experience of Coach K edged out the brilliance and talent of that still wet behind the ears kid, Stevens.

Around here, however, age and experience went down crying before youth and agility.

Good job, Josie!

      Mary Louise,

one the things I learned this season about 'hoops' was your clear understanding of the game- in one of your articles you noted something related to the idea of shot selection - specifically the guy who makes shots should shoot - at that time I noted you should be on the bench and in charge of shot selection,

With Josie's astute knowledge of the game there should also be a spot for her as an advisor.

      Have a good week.
