I didn't actually watch American Idol this week.  I forgot about it, okay?
I went online this morning and saw that Big Mike Lynch got voted off but that the judges used their one seasonal save to keep him around for one more week.

This was a good move.  I will say, however that the save isn't enough.  Next week, they have to give two contestants the boot.  It seems to me that the other side of the 'save' coin should be giving the judges the authority to choose who the second loser will be next week.  That way, they could get rid of the awful Tim Urban, who is going to win this year because 12 year old girls think he's dreamy.  The guy hasn't got a chance in heck of ever selling any cds, so get rid of him.
