Monday in Vegas, we were all tired so all we did was pack up and head to the pool.  Well, Katie and I split some pancakes and eggs benedict at the Courtyard Cafe first.  Then we poured outselves into our swim suits and headed for the pool.  Tyler and Jay joined us after playing nine at the Calloway course just across from Mandalay Bay.

It was the hottest day yet.  Mid eighties and no wind.  Plenty of sun screen kept me from burning.  I worked on my needlepoint until I hurt myself.

Needlepoint injuries are usually confined to poking your self with the needle.  This hurts like the dickens but does no lasting damage.  I don't know what I did, but suddenly the first knuckle of my left index finger hurt  like a bee sting and I couldn't bend the finger.  Weird.

It's Thursday now, and my finger is still stiff, but I can type.

Don't be laughing at the needlepoint injuries, they're serious when you work with your hands.  I've gotten a lot of painting done this week, but it hasn't been easy.

Now I'm watching Heart and Souls, because it features the song "Walk Like a Man" and I'm still in Jersey Boys mode.

The weather has been lousy this week.  Cold and rainy.  We may get snow on Sunday.

It's good to be home.
