Our Memorial Day weekend was pretty fun.
I can't remember most of it.
That should give you a fair idea of how fun it was.
I do remember laying on my deck, eating tenderloin, omaha taters (Jay and Mr. Curry ate the taters, I don't touch them) and caramel apple torts, watching the stars, drinking wine (goosecross) and seeing a satellite cross the heavens.  I think that was Saturday night.  It was warm, windless and no planes flew over our house.
Sunday we went to Mom and Dad's for brats, corn on the cob and chocolate chip bars.  Woody, Muzz and her girls and Joe and Heidi's families were there.  The food was great and the company too.  Andy and Vi didn't come because they got tix to the
Twins game.  McCollows didn't come because we didn't invite them.
No, not really.  Don't know why they didn't come.
Monday we were at Pam and Steve's for a pool party.  Lots and lots of Pivecs came but not everyone.  Tim and Mary Lou stay at their place all the time and no one can blame them.  IT's pretty dang gorgeous out there on the lake.
It was really fun at the pool, too.  I didn't go in the water.  I only do that when I'm really hot and although it was gorgeous out, it wasn't that hot.
Katie didn't come; she was out learning to be an archer.
Ben and Lauren brought Violet, whom I hadn't met yet.  Very pretty baby!!
Josie made me bring her home around five. She'd been at her friend's cabin all weekend and had a lot of homework to do.  Killjoy.
So, since it was still a beautiful evening, I called MJ and she and I popped her girls in the stroller and we walked around the lake.
When I got home I watched Battle Cry! because it's my Dad's favorite WWII movie.  It wasn't what I expected.  Lots of soap opera relationship stuff and not too much fighting.  I hadn't realized that it was based on a Leon Uris novel.  It was pretty good, just not what I expected.

Today I was stuck in the house all day because they came and installed the new central air unit.  It took four hours but it's in and it works.  The old one was so ancient and decrepit that the new one will probably pay for itself by the time we get it paid off due to it's energy efficiency.  We ran it for a while to see if it works and hoo-boy, the air coming out of the vents was cold enough to give you frost bite if you stood in front of it for too long.
So, I'll have to go into the shop to get my orders tomorrow, instead.  No biggie; I wasn't meeting with any customers today.
I hope there are a lot of new orders.

It poured rain for a few hours this afternoon so it smells great outside.  The sun is coming out.  We should have another gorgeous evening.  I can hear the sound of baseballs hitting aluminum bats in the park across the street.
I love that.
