It was sunny and gorgeous this morning so even though I had taken a bunch of pictures of the falls the other afternoon, I ran back over there this morning and took a bunch more. I'm glad I did because with the sun on the falls instead of behind them, it looked completely different and I liked it a lot better. I went straight from the park to Sam's to get the photos made and I'll pick them all up tomorrow.
Then I came home and painted one large Christmas stocking before lunch and another one after lunch. That's more than I usually do and I'm exhausted. it's kind of over cast out there now, but still nice.
I didn't walk the lake today. I was too busy to even call anyone. I did take time to eat some lunch; I made a sandwich out of the last bits of a t-bone steak that was 2 inches thick. Yummmmm.
Jay just went off to the store to get us something for dinner. My brother Woody is coming over. His wife works through dinner so he was free.
I'm almost ready for my trip to Texas. I've got the wedding invites mocked up and I'll get the photos for the big painting I'll be doing. It's going to be a working trip but lots of fun. I'm excited to see Ty and Megan's house.
I'm also ready for school to be out and summer to start. It's shaping up to be a fun summer, even though it doesn't look like we'll be seeing JP and Roy until August and maybe not much even then.
Man, I'm tired. I know sitting at a drawing board and painting for two and a half hours doesn't seem like it should take it out of you but try it sometime; it does.
Think I'll go do the second cross word puzzle in the paper Mr. C dropped off here yesterday. When I finish that, It'll probably be after 6, and that means I can watch tv.
I just finished the 3rd season of Always Sunny in Philadelphia. That show is really funny. In the bonus features, someone referred to them as Seinfeld on crack and that's pretty accurate.
I'm also watching the first season of Party Down. Holy toledo, is that funny!
