Somehow we wound up with a subsrciption to Us Weekly.  it comes in Jay's name and I'm sure he's the only member of the family who doesn't even look at it.

Every week I go through it from cover to cover, getting more confused by the page.

Who are these people?

Is The Bachelor really a big enough hit that the "real people" it features need to be chronicled week after week after week?

What the hell is a Kardashian and why should anyone care?

Is there an editor or an entire department who's job is to keep tabs on everything Brad, Angie and their 37 offspring do?

Is Jessica Simpson really that compelling a personality?

Why is Paris Hilton famous?

Does every show on next year's tv schedule feature vampires?

I do enjoy the pages of 'famous' women wearing gorgeous clothes, especially the ones where two 'famous' women wore the same outfit and we get to vote on who looked better in it.  Why isn't the entire magazine this stuff?

What magazine do I have to get to see pictures of Zachary Quinto?

Never mind.  As long as I've got Google, who needs magazines?
