More Awesomeness

While I was eating my chocolate chip cookie breakfast yesterday, MJ called and said "Let's walk around the lake before it gets too hot."
So we did. We were done by 11, when I had to pack up my bag and head to the shop, where I dropped off my orders and there were several new ones for me and also, a reporter for Edina Magazine, who's doing a story on the Picket Fence and wanted to interview me, since I've been designing for them since I was 15.
I sat down with the gal, who's name is Julie Fitzinger and in no time at all, discovered that she has known my sister in law, Heidi for years. She didn't know Heidi was my sister in law. Turns out they'd served together on the parish council.
Small world!
In the afternoon I got home and no one was here. Josie had gone to Carolyn's for a sleep over and both the guys had to go to work. I made myself sloppy joes for dinner, which I ate with a bunch of grapes. I finished the book I was reading and spent the next few hours on the computer writing.
As if this weren't all good enough, I got a call from JP with good news and bad news.
The good news is that he has booked a job on NCIS, which will shoot in about two weeks.
The bad news is he just read that Katherine Heigl will play Stephanie Plum.
Yes, the worst actress in the world is going to play the best role for a woman to come down the pike since Sarah Connor.
Who cares; JP BOOKED A JOB!!!
