On the ride back to the lodge from the reception, Margy told her boys "I don't ever want to hear you complaining about country music again, because that was a hoe-down and you've never had so much fun in your lives!"

Not one of them argued with her.

Early Sunday morning, Jay got up and went to Mass with his older brothers and their wives.  They let the rest of us sleep in.  Not only that, but when they got home, Jay cooked up a big brunch for everyone at the lodge.

I asked Logan if he was having as much fun up on that stage as it looked like he was having.  He grinned and said "Oh, yeah!"

Kent, MJ, Katie and Meg left right after breakfast.  They were only in Sodak for 16 hours, but every minute of it was fun.

The rest of us cleaned up the place, threw in several loads of laundry, packed up our cars and headed to different destinations.  Bob, Jim, Maureen and Meg were going to a Bed and Breakfast in Desmet for a few days.  We caravanned over to the ranch to see the newlyweds open some presents and say Thank you and Good bye to everyone.

Peg made us--she FORCED us--to eat pork tenderloin sandwiches before we hit the road.  Lennis was taking off too; he had a rodeo to get to.  Guy was up rocking till 3:00 a.m. and he's planning to compete the next day.  That's my boy's father in law.  Don't ever get on his bad side, Ty.

The drive home was uneventful.  I only missed one turn and Jay quickly called to ask me why I was headed to Wisconsin.  The girls rode in the van and the guys rode in the Audi.  We were tired but we got home before dark.

Finnie took great care of the flowers, cat and mail.  He even sorted the mail out to make it that much easier for us to throw most of it away.

I'm so tired I think I'd like to sleep till September but I don't think I'll be allowed to.

There was not nearly enough about me in either of those three blogs. I only think you mentioned my name twice as a metter of fact.
