Yesterday was hot, humid and gray.   So Jay and I went and saw Inception at the Imax near our house.  We went out with a bunch of Jay's colleague's the other night and they were talking about it; they all liked it.

Zack saw it back when it first came out and he loved it so I knew I'd like it but I wasn't so sure if Jay would.  Jay doesn't love movie's for movies sake and he doesn't like movies he has to think  too hard to follow. He just wants to be entertained.  Zack and I figured he'd either love it or hate it.

He loved it.  We both did.

Seriously, what's not to love?  Lots of shooting and stuff blowing up and an intriguing story and good performances and mind blowing special effects.

The plot is very convoluted and layered but actually easy to understand because it's set in the dream world and everyone understands dreams.

The ending is ambiguous but it works.

All in all, I'd say that Inception is the movie the Matrix wanted to be.
