A riddle;
Two football teams are playing in the fog. Both teams have athletically talented players but neither team has ever played before and the coaches have never even seen the game played before. Only the fans and the referees know the rules. The teams try to play the game by listening to the cheers and jeers of the fans and not repeating the mistakes the refs point out to them
The red team is close to the end zone. The coach has figured out that if they can kick the ball through the uprights, they will score some points, so he sends in his kicker and tells him what to do.
The kicker successfully boots the ball through the uprights.
The ref then explains that they are at the wrong end of the field and so their team does not score any points. The red teams fans boo and call the coach names.
Later on in the game, the blue team made the exact same mistake; they kicked the ball over the wrong uprights and scored no points. The blue teams fans tsk and say they're sure his heart was in the right place.
The red team's coach, having learned from his mistake, tells his team to turn around and go in the other direction.
The blue teams coach, being an unusually intelligent man, knows that the world is round; he smiles and tells his team to keep kicking toward the same end zone but kick much, much harder!
Which one of these coaches is a liberal?
