Jay and I saw The American, starring George Clooney.

Twenty minutes in, I was wishing we were at any other movie.

I have never been so bored at the theater in my life.    

Sitting in the lobby watching people buy popcorn would have been more interesting.

I may be the only straight woman in existence who is not a George Clooney fan.  The last thing I saw him in was Burn After Reading and he was painfully bad.  He was embarrassing to watch.  Brad Pitt was hilarious, though.

But The American isn't a comedy so I thought maybe he'd be good.

He's not good.

He's a terrible actor and he's not even hot anymore.

If you were thinking of seeing the American, save yourself 20 bucks and see anything else. Or take a nap.  Same thing.
