Edina Magazine

Print the article

Late last summer, Edina magazine did a story on the needlepoint shop I design for.  Since I've been painting for them for a hundred years, the owner wanted the reporter to talk to me, so I did.  She was a very nice gal and as we talked, it turned out that she knows my brother Joe and his wife very well.

The article appeared in the October issue of the magazine, which was delivered to homes late last week.  The Picket Fence recieved a copy so J, the owner, called me and said I should come see it.  It's a very nice story.  I'm quoted in the second page.

No biggie.

Sure, I could strut around, thinking it's all cool to see my name in print but the very same week this article appeared, we recieved advance copies of a book on basketball and coaching, called Inspirations from the Bench, in which my husband is not only quoted, he's described as "a gem of a guy and a friend extraordinaire" and on the back cover, he's credited as an NJCAA Hall of Fame Basketball Coach.

So remaining humble around here is easier than you might think.
