Mark Steyn is back just in time for Halloween and he's scarier  than ever.

Why is his column scary?

Because it makes perfect sense.

Here's a paraphrased taste for those of you too lazy to click on the link: When government gets used to spending at the levels Washington is at, it's not an economic issue, it's a moral one.  There's nothing 'caring', 'compassionate' or 'progressive' about spending money yet to be earned by generations yet to be born.

And guess who's buying our debt?  and guess what they're building with it?

Bottom line; if China nukes Chicago, you won't get the bill a week later only because the administration has already given them the money.

Throw the bums out.
