Jay got a new snow blower.  IT's half as heavy as the old one and it's bright green.  And most important, it works.

We're actually lucky we live on a snow emergency route; the plows came by three times before they were pulled, due to no visibility.  So, we hopped in the car and ran up the road and bought stew meat and ribs and taters and stuff to keep us from living on cereal for three days.  I was perfectly content with cereal and bacon and eggs but Jay wanted ribs.

The radio announced that bus service has been canceled and the airport shut down.  Two thirds of the buses on the road are stuck.

I'm glad I'm at home and that we have a fire place that works.

14 and a half inches reported at the airport so far and no sign of this storm slowing down till  long after dark.

I love it.
