My mind is blown, again.
I've been reading
God's War on Terror , by Walid Shoebat, off and on since September. It's a
fascinating book but hard reading; you need to
study it. You can't skim through it and there are no boring bits. This book taught me a lot and surprised me a lot and eventually it blew my mind on at least three separate occasions.
Seriously, my brain felt like it was all over the walls.
I had to put it aside whenever that happened and go do and read something else, sometimes for a week or two, until my brain had had a chance to regroup and wrap itself around the things the author showed me.
Seriously, Mr. Shoebat makes an excruciatingly compelling argument that Western Scholars have been looking at the Bible all wrong for a thousand years. What if they've been literally looking at it from the wrong direction?
What if the Bible, with all it's imagery and symbolism, weren't really written in code at all? What if the imagery and symbolism were all perfectly understandable idioms of the time and place in which they were written and God not only revealed exactly what was going to happen, but when (to the day), where and by whom?
What if the mark of the beast as we commonly understand it, was a complete misunderstanding and what John had actually seen in his dream was the handwritten name of the Antichrist, in the language which the Antichrist's followers would use?
Go get this book and read it.
I promise you some twists and turns you never saw coming.
