The owner of the shop wants me to come in on Tuesdays again.  I'm happy with that.  A long time ago, my day to pick up orders was Monday but she's been closed on Monday's for years now.  She thought Tuesdays had gotten too crowded for her to give me her undivided attention so we switched to Thursdays.

I never liked Thursdays.

Psychologically, I couldn't get used to Thursday.  I usually take the day off after picking up my check and dropping off orders.  Everyone needs a day off and what became the first day of my week seemed like a good time to catch my breath.

But when the next day is Friday, I went right into weekend mode and even though I paint on weekends, it never felt like a got a groove going and then suddenly it was Monday and I only had three days to get a weeks worth of orders done.

And she calls me every dang day!  So lately, I've been going up there two and three times a week.

Well, I only make money when I'm at my drawing board at home. 

The downside to going back to Tuesdays is that this week, at least I really did only have only four days to get a weeks worth of work done.

I did manage to squeeze two parties in this weekend, however.

And I finally got Mom's latest design painted, so that's a huge load off my mind.

And my latest canvas order just arrived so I'm good to go.
