Tastes Like Chicken...

We're in the fourth day of record heat and if I hear one more idiot on the radio say "it's 98 but feels like 109..." I'm gonna smash something.
Hey, MORON; this is what 98 feels like!!
Yes, it's hot. It's quite hot. This is Minnesota so it's not a dry heat but I defy anyone to convince me that 109 wouldn't feel even hotter.
Heat index my ass.
They got this hysteria inducing idea from the Wind Chill Factor, which is what they use in the winter when the frigid wind blows. It's 2 degrees, but with the wind at fifteen mph, it feels like -12! The difference is that the wind really does make it feel colder and the humidity doesn't make anything hotter. At all. It just makes it stickier. Sticky may be uncomfortable but it's not hot. If it were, how come humidity when it's in the sixties doesn't feel like 70s? Huh? HUH??
It's all part of the media's hysteria-inducing plan to get those of us who have figured out that GLOBAL WARMING IS A CROCK to change our minds.
"Hmmm...it feels like 109? It was never this hot when I was a kid...maybe I shouldn't...live my life the way I want to..."
It was this hot when we were kids. We just didn't sit around pretending it was even hotter than it is.
I really feel like Alice in Wonderland a lot these days. I listen to the news, I watch movies, I talk to my young adult kids...the liars have taken over everything and the gullible generations that were educated in lies believes every bit of nonsense they're spoon fed. Now I understand why kids aren't taught American History in school. Or logic. Or proper English. Or basic economics.
Think about it; how are you gonna scare people into thinking that if you don't get an extension on your credit, you won't be able to pay your bills? Really? If Chase doesn't raise my limit, I won't be able to pay my rent? Why not? Have I lost my income? No? Then why can't I pay my bills? If I need to borrow more money to pay my bills, doesn't that mean I'm already bankrupt? How is letting me borrow even more money going to solve that problem???
See? The last things the leftists who currently control so many of our institutions want the average American to have a grasp on are economics and logic because to know anything of either is to see that we're being played for fools.
It's so dumb it's hard to believe any sentient person could fall for it.
Then I eat some chocolate and console myself with the reminder that the liars have always been here, young adults have always been gullible and 80% of the people can still tell an eagle from a duck.
But Eisenhower was wrong; it's not the Military/Industrial complex we should worry about. It's the Media/Government/Education complex.
