Tree's Up!

Josie and I put up the Christmas tree last night. With both of us working it wasn't such a drag. Okay, by that I mean that she lit the thing. She did an excellent job.
Surprisingly, the tree is covered in lights but we used about five less strings than last year. I don't know how she did it but I'm okay with it. I do have two left over strings that I'll have to decide what to do with. I'm thinking; front fence.
I have to put plastic over the porch windows today. We closed the porch last winter but we put a new tv out there this winter and plan to use it again so it needs some extra insulation. I'm thinking it will be a great refuge for when hot flashes hit me, which I'm hoping will start any minute now.
I'm done with the bulk of my Christmas shopping. I must be; I'm out of money.
I'll probably get a few more small things here and there but the biggies for each kid have been taken care of. I do have a couple of things I want to make and I have some time now.
I mixed up another batch of Devil Cookies last night and I'll bake those today.
Having stuff arrive from Amazon every day is super fun, even though the stuff isn't for me but from me. I'm wrapping as I go so the Santa stuff is taken care of. MJ's present is already under the tree.
Next year, I get to start buying toys again!
